Letterpress

(First) Created using both the C&P press with metal type and the proof press with wood block type, this letterpress trilogy was designed to show the attributes of God's name while capturing the vintage feel of the art of letterpress.

(Second) Created using the C&P press with metal type, this piece of work prints out John 15:1-5 ESV in gold type with a green line behind it to represent the vine described in the verses.

Screenprinting

(First) A set of CMYK screenprints from an image of my husband golfing. The final prints are captured here sitting on a drying rack, showcasing the traditional separation process used in color screenprinting.

(Second) This screenprinting trilogy was designed to emphasize the vintage aesthetic inherent in this form of printmaking. The process involved printing multi-layered patterns (using one, two, or three colors) directly onto matte board. A window was then cut into the board, behind which Bible verses, printed on textured paper, were mounted to create a final, layered presentation.
